Mornington Shaker

The original kitchen space had one window in a very small space with no area for seating, beautiful view. By removing the dividing wall we opened up the full space to introduce the previously isolated dining room. This is a two tonal kitchen using the Second Nature, MORNINGTON SHAKER with the main units in DOVE GREY and the island in HARFORTH BLUE. A white Veanto quartz worktop, contrast with a European Walnut breakfast bar.
We have used two NEFF “slide and hide” ovens, flanking a NEFF microwave and and warming drawer, these are in turn flanked by full height NEFF integral fridge and freezers. The base units run around in an L-shape from here, where we have, dishwasher, sink and recycle bins into a corner unit with a Le Mans pull out and then concealed washer and dryer along the gable wall. A NEFF induction hob has been set at the top of the island, allowing the cook to interact with guests sitting around the island and a view out to the garden. External ceiling extraction above the hob has been set into a bulkhead which also conceals the beam.
A massive thank you to Alan and his highly talented team. We are absolutely over the moon with our stunning new kitchen. Alan’s attention to detail is impeccable and stands out above any other. Thank you Ray for bringing a smile with you everyday, nothing was too much trouble and your skills are endless. Luke has the best mentor! We look forward to using Saddleworth Kitchen Extensions for future projects and would 100% recommend.
